Winterthur, the home of 3 generations of Henry Francis du Ponts, is one of the most spectacular museum homes in America. This historic home is a well known center for beautiful decorative arts amidst one of the loveliest garden settings in the Brandywine River Valley. The day will begin with a narrated garden tram tour which provides a panoramic view of the estate as it travels through the many sections of the incredible gardens. On the museum house tour are some of the finest examples of American antiques and art in the country all collected over the decades by various duPonts. Included in the admission is a pass to the Galleries which have both permanent and temporary exhibits related to the collections.

Lunch will be included at the Winterthur Cafeteria, which serves delicious regional cuisine. Not to be missed is the Winterthur Museum Shop that is filled with gifts for family and friends.
