This is a day dedicated to history, fine dining and shopping for antiques! Frederick, Maryland is a town that is steeped in a colorful past. Chartered in 1748, Frederick Country is renowned for its Historic District which our step on guide will describe in great detail. The town itself is on the National Register of Historic Places and has preserved hundreds of Federal, Greek Revival, Georgian and Romanesque buildings.

Lunch will be at one of the town's chic restaurant's whose menus are taken right from the nearby farms which feature the local flavor and produce.

Artists have restored old storefronts into galleries and antique shop owners provide an abundance of goods in an atmosphere where serious bargaining takes place.
