Meet Maureen Cyron

Maureen first moved to Virginia in 1964
to attend college. She has received degrees from Marymount University, American University, and a Masters in Education from the University of Virginia. In 1985
she joined Excursionaire because of her fondness for the Washington DC area and its unique place in history. As the owner of Excursionaire, she enjoys developing and customizing tours for visitors to showcase our nation’s capital.

Excursionaire clients range from the Northern
Virginia Antique and Arts Association and the
McLean Community Center to the Smithsonian
American Art Docents.

Maureen is a member of the American Bus Association, a Master Guide with the Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington, DC. In addition, she has served as Chairman of both the Education and the Government Liaison Committees for the Guild.
